You might want to test things out beforehand so you will not be spending your time at the party troubleshooting. For example, if you have eight players, that means you will have a minimum of nine different interfaces trying to use your Internet connection. My final concern with “Fibbage” is that your home Wi-Fi set up may not be able to accept everyone in a large group. I would hope by the holiday season they would have some of these glitches worked out. I played many games this past weekend on my PlayStation 4 during peak times and I found the scoring wasn’t done correctly a few times. It was still challenging to find the right answer in the mix. Nevertheless, I found “Fibbage” to be satisfying even with two players since the computer generated more fake answers. Obviously, the more players you have, the more fun it will be. “Fibbage” has to be played with at least two players but you can get up to eight going at one time. This way, each player has their own private screen to input their guesses. These commands and guesses are sent through the “Fibbage” webpage and onto your television with lightning speed. Each subsequent round is worth more points so it is possible that someone could come from behind to win the game, but the points are not skewed too much. If you are stumped for a fake answer, you can ask the game to make one for you at the cost of half the points if somebody else chooses it.Įach game of “Fibbage” lasts around ten minutes with three rounds. ![]() The questions are obscure enough so that most of the time you will be creating random guesses anyway. If somebody else chooses your incorrect answer, you will also receive points. You will get points if you choose the correct answer supplied by the game itself. It reminded me of the classic board game “Balderdash,” where bluffing and educated guessing is more important than knowing general trivia.Įach round is simple: There is a statement on the screen with a missing word and you have to supply the incorrect answer to fool your friends into guessing it. “Fibbage” is a fantastic adult party game that integrates video game consoles and wireless devices for a fast, entertaining experience. This year, we get an early gift from the creators of “You Don’t Know Jack.” Even though we are many weeks away from the holiday season, looking for the perfect party game is always important.
